Well ladies and gentlemen it's official, Brandon and I are having a baby girl! We are both very excited about this discovery and are happy to announce that Alice Marie Kessler should be joining our family some time in December. As I write this I'm half way to week twenty-one, which means I'm just passing the half way mark. Let me tell you, it has been a learning experience!
Most woman spend their life being self-conscious about weight, and now I spend more time wondering why my baby belly isn't as big as other woman who are, either, just as far along or not as far along. (The baby is healthy though, so it's not a health concern) Every little movement has me freaked out until I find out what it is, but now when I feel her move I can't help but smile.
Heartburn is killer, but TUMS fix that. Migraines are halation, now keep in mind I wasn't prone to them before I was pregnant, so they are a new experience for me. Luckily the doctor gave me something to help with those. Over all though, even with the minor aches and pains, the Second Trimester has been so much better than the first, and the Third Trimester is right around the corner! Just about 4 months before Alice gets here. (remember she's due Dec 3rd)
On to the news about Alice. Alice is healthy and likes to move around a lot; she didn't even want to sit still for the ultrasound tech! She weighs about one pound and probably about five inches from head to butt. She's growing and as far as everything seems she is healthy! Yay for a healthy baby!
Yay baby Alice! I promise I am still going to make you "Raccoon Girl" one day
